About Mathroom

Visual artist and music producer Fred Clarke has been producing under the alias Mathroom since 2012. Exploring various mediums in both sonic and visual spheres, with overlap in the form of video, VR and multi-media performance.“The name Mathroom was derived from an interest in maths as a universal language, which in many ways is more discovered than invented. It exists in art, music, nature, and the rest of our universe as an omnipresent language. When I create, I like to think of it as a free exploration and experience of these worlds, discovering new forms and combinations of elements, expressed through equations of marks, textures and frequencies.”
